Des de dijous teníem rumors no confirmats de la presència del català a la nova Apple Store de La Maquinista, la que s’inaugura aquest matí.

Fins i tot un comentari misteriós deixat en aquesta entrada on anunciàvem la trobada de tots els mosseguis apuntava en la mateixa direcció.

Finalment en Miquel Labòria, que és a la cua des d’aquesta matinada, ho confirma i en publica les primeres fotografies en el BaC.

A espera de poder entrar dins la botiga (ho farem en passe de premsa a les 9h) i acabar-ho de confirmar, sembla que Apple aposta pel català a la botiga de Barcelona, com no podia ser d’una altra manera. De ser així és un pas endavant significatiu respecte a la política tradicional vers la nostra llengua emprada per la casa de la poma, que ja va començar a canviar a favor, amb la presencia oficial del català al sistema operatiu de l’iPhone, el iOS, a partir de la versió 4.

Les esperances dels usuaris catalans d’Apple és que l’ús de la nostra llengua s’estengui també als Macs, dins el sistema operatiu Mac OS X, on hi ha també fundats rumors de possible re-aparició (el català va ser-hi present, de forma esporàdica, fa uns anys); i també arribi a la relació comercial amb Apple (iTunes, Apple Store, Centre de Suport, etc.).

Arriba el dia de la inauguració de la primera Apple Store a Catalunya i, com ja sabeu, serà al Centre Comercial La Maquinista aquest dissabte 4 de Setembre de 2010 a les 10h (obertura oficial de portes).

Aquest divendres, un dia abans, ja hi havia gent aplegada. L’amic mossegui Juanma ens ha fet arribar la foto que encapçala aquest article.

Nosaltres hem quedat a les 9h, crec que és millor trobar-nos directament per la cua. En Rai ha fet unes senzilles enganxines de mossegalapoma i les anirà repartint. Ha pensat que era millor que portar xupitos. Aquesta nit surt de marxa, no li ho tingueu en compte. A més portarà la càmera de vídeo, “la guai”, per tant si el veieu, demaneu-li una enganxina i traie-li la llengua, si feu quelcom més agosarat es considerarà ofensiu

Intentarem estar dins la tenda abans que obrin i enviant twits amb fotos en primícia mundial, per tant us convido a que ens seguiu via Twitter. Amb en Miquel Labòria hem acordat fer servir el hashtag #applestorecat
